Attached is a picture of our little girl @ 8 days old and our first family photo when she was 11 days old. This was the first time I got to hold her. We’ve only held her twice. It was the most amazing and humbling experience to have her in my arms.

She is 21 days old today, and she has gained almost 12 oz and has grown almost 2 inches. She’s now 2 lbs 13.7oz and measures 15¾inches. We are so proud of her! Her face looks fuller now than the attached pictures; we hope to get a good new picture of her soon so we can share a newer photo.
She is one feisty little girl; she stretches a lot and fights the nurses when they adjust her oxygen or change her diaper. Health-wise, she is doing good. She has had good days and not-so-good days. But, right now, everything is stable…Thank God. She scared us this past Monday with an infection, but she’s on antibiotics and doing much better. She’s eating 15ml of my milk every 3 hours. Her belly is tolerating the breast milk well, and she’s doing lots of sleeping and growing.
The doctors said when she comes home, she will not be allowed to have visitors until the doctor gives clearance, which could be up to 1 year. This is because her immune system will be very weak. We are looking forward to see her running around the house and can’t wait until the day that she will be able to play with other babies.
